Yesterday we wrote up a wine tasting of a Tinto Fino wine from Ribera del Duero and we mentioned that the Tinto Fino grape variety is in fact the same as Tempranillo. some Spanish experts argue that they are clones of Tempranillo and there are slight differences. I don’t know how true that is as most of the world accepts them as the same grape with different regional names.

Regardless of what it’s called it’s still a delicious grape variety for red wine production.
