This article popped up on the WineFolly.com Facebook page the other day and for me it’s a must read. Why? Because Spain is full of old vines.
Almost every tasting I go to in Madrid includes a wine from the Bodega’s old vines. Some over 100 years of age. I’ve often wondered what the difference is (you’d think I’d be able to tell from the tasting, but alas no!). Now thanks to WineFolly.com I at least know what I should be looking for.
