Another great find from my trips to Malaga. This is a white Riojan wine made from 100% Viura. According to the website it is fruity and floral and intense from cold maceration and bleeding. I personally thought this wine had spent time in a barrel as it was full bodied and oily. However the website talks of the 2016 vintage and I was tasting 2018 so who knows.
However they made it this was my type of of wine. Good body, medium plus acidity. Nutty oily flavour. Good fresh finish.
Can’t tell colour too dark in the bar. Medium plus Scent on the lemony side with oily nutty tones.
