El Gusto is a restaurant in La Cala de Mijas who have their own house wine. Obviously not made by them just labelled for their restaurant, but a nice touch none the less.
Trouble is I have no idea which bodega made it or where it is from in Spain. It is a Tempranillo joven and that is as much as I know.
For those of you reading this blog to learn about Spanish wine then move on because this tasting won’t help you. For family and friends who visit La Cala and may use this restaurant carry on reading.
A classic pale purple colour of Spanish Tempranillos with a light fruity scent.
This is an easy drinking wine. Dry, light bodied, short finish with medium tannins and acidity. It is super fruity: Strawberry, cherry & blackberry.
Super fun summer red. Ideal for the Costa Del Sol.
